About Silver Safe
Silver Safe is a nonprofit organization that aims to empower elders by providing the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in the digital world. Through our programs, we foster technological literacy and promote safe online behavior, ensuring that even elders can benefit from the opportunities that the digital age offers, making technology a friend to the elders.
What we do
Technology applications
We provide free fundamental technological support for elders, such as applications of social media, email, utilization of computers, and more.
Entertainment&technology
We incorporate board games with simple technology, encouraging elderies to be familiar with technologies while enjoying leisure time.
Real life assistant
In weekly activities, we teaches elderies any technology related knowledges or questions they have, and host review lessons for the learned skills.
Online safety training
We emphasize on the importancy of online safety, and how to determine/avoid online scams.
We held sessions about the application of the Silver Safe app An Line bot used to determine the reliability of online sources/links
